Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy massage is Swedish style relaxation massage with the addition of essential oils topically to the skin or they can be breathed in during a strictly olfactory type treatment.The oils are absorbed into the skin offering benefit to the body but additionally offer benefits to the brain through absorption in the olfactory route (the part of the brain affected by smell).

What Does Aromatherapy Massage Do? 

Essential oils have been used for nearly 6,000 years, with the aim of improving a person's physical and/or mental health. 

Some of the health benefits of aromatherapy include its ability to reduce anxiety, ease depression, boost energy, eliminate headaches, and reduce pain. Different oils offer different benefits. 

Oils I offer


Peppermint essential oil is a very effective natural painkiller and muscle relaxant. It is extremely effective for tension headaches. It is also great for colds, coughs and asthma as is reduces sinus congestion.


Lavender essential oil induces sleep and is thus used as an alternative treatment for insomniaLavender essential oil has a calming scent which makes it an excellent tonic for the nerves and any anxiety issues. it can also be helpful in treating headaches, depression, nervous tension and emotional stress.

Lemon Eucalyptus 

Using eucalyptus for asthma, cold, and other sinus conditions is a proven treatment that dilates the blood vessels and allows more oxygen into the lungs thus allowing for quicker more effective healing.  The addition of lemon boosts dopamine levels in the brain offering the benefit of improved mood and increased energy.
